Hi, I’m Kathleen

I've spent 20+ years as a speech-language pathologist and literacy specialist. I support people who need extra help with reading and spelling, guiding them as they build foundational skills and discover the logic and joy of language. I also assist literacy specialists with their learning journeys.

A person with red painted nails and wearing a ring is writing on a worksheet with a black pen on a wooden table. The worksheet is titled 'Word Investigation: One' and includes a 3x3 grid with words, along with instructions. There is a laptop partially visible on the right side of the image and a stack of papers underneath the worksheet. The person's clothing is a white shirt with a small floral pattern and metal buttons.

Whether you’re a parent looking for help for your child, a dyslexic adult wanting to understand spelling using the Structured Word Inquiry framework, or a literacy specialist seeking to develop your skills, I’ve got something for you.
